Hello, my name is Carlin A. Wilson.

I am a fitness conscience  individual whose personal triumphs led to what would eventually become my purpose and career in Health and Wellness. I have always been very active (tennis, golf, and basketball), however, I was never interested in resistance training until my 4th year in college. I turned to resistance training, my 4th year of college (critical juncture in my life), as a healthy way to release negative energy and better deal with life stressors and frustrations. Within that process, I was able to establish discipline and patience in the steps needed to change my body. This deepened my interest in how the musculoskeletal system operates and the numerous benefits that it brings to ones physical and mental health.

After attending Hampton University my personal success within the sport of Natural Bodybuilding, jump started my desire to pursue my Bachelor’s in Exercise Science from Western Michigan University and become an instructor and trainer of Health and Wellness. My desire was and will always be to educate myself as a science-based fitness professional positively affecting as many lives as I possibly can. No gimmicks or quick fixes…. just provide practical education and services to help people improve their quality of life.

  • More than15 years specializing in Muscle Recovery (Stretch Coach), Corrective Exercise (3 years Physical Therapy Training) and Weight Management

  • More than 15 years of successful Injury Prevention programming implementation within Commercial, Non-Profit and Clinical Health Facilities 

  • 10 years as Exercise Science/Health Education Instructor at Macomb Community College and Schoolcraft College in Michigan. respectively. (Michigan) 

  • 10 years as competitive Natural Bodybuilder (Two 2nd place finishes in Heavyweight Division) 

  • NASM Certified Personal Trainer (National Academy of Sports Medicine)

  • FMS Level 1 Certified (Functional Movement Screen)  

  • Institute of Motion Certified applied Health and Human Performance Specialist

  • Author of “Fitness The Right Way”: Your in-home training manual (January 2023 Release Date)
